White, Beauchemin, Hagman, and Grabovski led the Leafs in Even-Strength Scoring Chances +/- at +5. A much better effort by the Blake-Grabovski-Hagman line in this game, providing five high quality scoring chances (Grabo with three, Hagman with two... I usually indicate a high quality Leaf chance by writing the shooter's jersey number under the "Notes" column). Three of those came within seconds of each other just over 5 minutes into the game.

The Leafs PP struggles continue, as they went 0 for 6 and failed to produce a single scoring chance on the 4-minute power-play early in the 2nd following the double-minor high-sticking infraction by Blake Wheeler. The Leafs have scored at an anemic 11.6 % rate with the man advantage so far in December, scoring just 4 goals off of 35 opportunities.
