Kaberle and Komisarek were each +8 at Even-Strength (on ice for 9 TOR chances and 1 NYI chance) to lead the team. Kessel's line generated 8 chances, several of them of higher quality but failed to capitalize. On the other hand, the Blake-Grabo-Hagman line made only one chance, which was good for a goal.

The refs could have called a lot more penalties on the Isles than the two given out, which is very frustrating for the Leafs especially following Monday's game where no penalty was given to the Leafs' opponents (and Toronto got only one penalty). What's the deal with the refs this year? Not that it would've mattered much anyway as far as the Leafs getting a goal on the PP, they really need to work on generating some decent chances there.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thanks for stopping by.
