Ugly game for the Leafs, they gave up a ton of high quality scoring chances and could've easily given up ten if not for Gustavsson. By my count, the Flyers got 9 A-grade (high quality) scoring chances, the most given up by the Leafs this season. They had given up 8 A-grade chances on two occasions, against the Bruins on Dec. 10 and against the Ducks in that wild game on Oct. 26 (in which the Leafs countered with 9 high quality chances of their own). Weirdly enough, the Leafs had a +13 Corsi rating at ES in this game.

The only PP chance came on the 5-3 late in the 2nd. Otherwise, the Leafs were skunked in 6:30 of 5-4 PP time.

Wallin and Stalberg led the Leafs with a +4 chance differential at ES. Schenn had a brutal game (-5), and Orr had the worst rating at -6 (no surprise considering what he is on the ice for). Mitchell has yet to see a scoring chance for his team in his two games back from injury thus far.

NHL.com credits Ponikarovsky as the goal-scorer for the Leafs 2nd goal, I didn't see if he tipped the puck or not.
