The Leafs played the worst two periods they've played in awhile (at least since early in the season against Washington), as they were massively outchanced (15-4) by the Bruins after the first two periods. The score could've been a lot worse than it was for the Leafs, down 3-0 going into the third. They came out with a much better effort in the final stanza, outchancing the B's at even strength and potted two goals, but a double-minor taken by Jason Blake with 4 minutes left killed the rally.

The Blake-Grabovski-Hagman line was brutal last night, and Ian White did not see a single scoring chance on the ice for his team in any situation. Kessel was a non-factor against his old team once again, but at least he came out ahead in scoring chances this time (he was a horrific 2-9 last Saturday).
